DISCA retains a retired educator who evaluates the candidates based on academic record, potential to succeed, leadership, participation in school and community activities, honors, and the candidate’s statement of education and career goals.”
“Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, DISCA still received a high number of quality applications for the 2020-2021 scholarships,” Umbach said. “We are pleased to award this elite group and support their pursuit of higher education and exploration of career paths.”
